Musa ka Musallah is a mountain at an elevation of around 13,400 feet, northwest of Kawai in Kaghan Valley, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. It is situated at the junction of the Siran and Kaghan Valleys in the Himalayas. Musa ka Musallah translates to “Moses’ Mat” in the local language. Believed by the locals to have been named after a religious local shepherd, Musa, who performed his daily prayers on the mountaintop, the mound is popular with trekkers and hikers. The most frequently used route is from Manda Gucha village to Choti ZiaraGali.

Trip Itinerary
- DAY 1
01:00 am: Gather at TourRanger Islamabad office and Depart for Munda Gucha
05:00 am: Arrival at Munda Gucha via Islamabad-Mansehra Motorway
Breakfast at Munda Gucha and preparation for full day hike towards Khori Basecamp
06:30 am: Start the Hike towards destination
Pass through Jacha Meadows, Dhori and sightseeing along the way
Daypacks for lunch will be provided
03:00 pm: Arrival at Khori Basecamp
Tea/Coffee and Noodles will be served upon arrival
07:00 pm: Dinner
Overnight in Huts - DAY 2
05:00 am: Wake and prepare for Musa ka Musalla Peak Summit Hike
12:30 pm: Arrival at the summit
Retrace back to basecamp (Khori)
