Sheosar Lake is a freshwater lake located in Deosai Plains (Deosai National Park) Gilgit Baltistan, Pakistan. With a normal profundity of around 40 m. the lake is encircled by a meadow of Deosai National Park. The name "Sheosar" is derived from two Shina (local language) words Sheo; which means blind and sar; which means lake. It is classified as "Blind Lake" in light of the fact that the source of water to the lake is unknown. It has been found after some exploration that the glacial water is the source to the lake yet it is a secret and should be investigated. Sheosar Lake lies at a rise of 4,142 m. also possesses a distance of 2.3 km. long and 1.8km. in width. The profundity of the lake fluctuates in various parts, which is determined 40 m. as normal.
