Mangla is a little wonderful modern town. It is arranged some ways off 110 kilometers from Islamabad and 15 kilometers short of Mirpur city. Mangla is a past town and is slated to be named after Mangla Devi. It is additionally the site of the intersection of river Jhelum by Alexander forces before Raja Porus. At the hour of formation of Mangla dam, towns of Baral, Baruti and Thill across the waterway in Jhelum locale were created as lodging provinces and workplaces for representatives and authorities.
