Lake Manchar- The Massive Freshwater Lake of Pakistan
Lake Manchar or Lake Manchhar as it is sometimes spelled is one of the massive naturally occurring lakes in Pakistan. Not only in the country, but this lake also jams a position as one of the largest lakes of Asia. Located in the Jamshoro District and Dadu District in the province of Sindh, the lake runs its smooth course west of the Indus River. The lake shares a special connection with the Indus River as all the water that it collects from the streams coming down from the Kirthar Mountains is drained directly into River Indus. While it drains most of its water into the Indus River, however the primary inflow of this lake is mainly from the Arah Wah Canal, Danister Canal, and Nai Gaj.
