Pakistan is home to many gems of nature some of which still await exploration and if promoted, these marvels of nature carry a high potential of generating tourism in Pakistan. One such gem is the Jahaz Banda valley in Dir Kohistan.

Dir Kohistan has many beautiful places that are unique in beauty but regardless of their immense beauty, these places are still hidden from the outside world.

Jahaz Banda is one of the most charming valleys currently present in Pakistan. It is situated in the territory of the village Lamoti. This idyllic and lush green hill station is in the upper range of Kumrat Valley at a height of 3100 meters above sea level.

The valley is blessed with vast meadows, gushing waterfalls, and crystal-clear lakes. Jahaz Banda also serves as an important pathway between Swat Kohistan(consisting of Kalam and Utror) and Dir Kohistan. In former times, Jahaz Banda was a common route used by people to travel to Utror.

Although nowadays people use the Badgoye Pass to travel between Utror and Kalam but formerly people took the Jahaz Banda route due to the shorter distance.
