Drigh Lake- a Lake of Beauty and a Sanctuary to Wildlife
A sanctuary for migratory birds and a habitat for exotic wildlife, the Drigh lake is a beautiful water body that is located in Qambar Shahdadkot District in Sindh, Pakistan. The lake is a common visiting place and is at a distance of 29 kilometers from Larkana and 7 kilometers from Qambar town.
The lake covers a total surface area of 408 acres and extends from North to South for about 5.64 miles. The lake came into its formation during the flooding episodes of the respective years 1814, 1815, and 1817. The lake is a luxurious place for many migratory birds and became a flora and fauna sanctuary in 1972.
