A common assumption by many is that there aren’t many activities that can happen in Pakistan due to various perceived reasons but in reality, rather than events not happening, we are just not aware of them.
One such coming event is the Toyota Hub Rally, happening on the 13th and 14th of March 2021, organized annually as a collaborative effort by Indus Motor Company Limited and Toyota Gazoo Racing to celebrate the Motor Sports circle in Pakistan. The rally gives you the chance to live and enjoy your Need For Speed fantasies and witness the competitive yet fun filled activity in person.
The origin of its name is pretty simple. Hub Rally is derived from the place it is held at: Hub Chowki, Lasbela, Balochistan, which is at a distance of 60-70 km from Karachi. It takes 2-3 hours to get there by drive, so it’s a pretty short trip. This time, there are nine different categories and the route has been extended to 50 km that stretches out to include the deserts, mountains and coastal territory that is present around it. The idea behind the rally is to promote tourism in areas which are not that popular among tourists and also to present an image of Pakistan that is not only inclusive but also a budding place for adventure activities.
If you crave thrill and are always on the look out for adventurous things to do in your very own country, this is for you. Be a spectator to this unique and exciting sporting event; feel the spirit of a vagabond, let your hair fly in the wind (and dust) and treasure the moment of being there because it only happens once a year, so why miss out.
