Can’t seem to muster up the courage to go scuba diving? Fret not, simply go snorkeling to experience the beauty of the underwater world. Though both the activities are different, they allow you to view marine life in some way.

Snorkeling requires swimming along the surface of the water equipped with a mask (or googles), a snorkel (a breathing tube) and flippers. The mask permits you to have a clear vision of the underwater world when you dip your head under for a peek. The snorkel on the other hand, stays on the surface so you can breathe with the face submerged by water.

Whereas, in scuba diving, you are required to go underwater with an oxygen tank. Though scuba gives a better view of the coral reef and the fish that reside in the sea, not everyone can swim. Hence, snorkeling is an easy option that you can opt for without undergoing any training.

Here are a few reasons why you must try snorkeling:

Snorkeling allows you to glimpse the many fish in the sea as well as the coral reef. There’s no limit to the underwater sights you can set your eyes on, including interesting rock formations.
